NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Arista Nashville’s SETH ENNIS will make his national U.S. television debut Thursday (1/17), performing his latest single “Call Your Mama” on NBC’s TODAY in the 10:00 a.m. hour.

“Call Your Mama” was touted as one the “18 Best Country Songs of 2018” by Taste of Country, who also included the track in its year-end list of “Songs That Made a Statement.” The track features GRAMMY Award-winning vocal group Little Big Town, who encouraged Ennis to cut the song after hearing him debut it live during a U.K. tour date. The foursome gladly obliged when asked if they would lend their signature harmonies to the emotionally-charged song.

Ennis co-wrote the “just perfect” (MusicRow) track in under 30 minutes with No. 1 hit songwriter Michael Hardy. The pair was inspired by a series of repetitive texts Ennis received from his mother, who also appears in the song’s tear-jerking music video, which has recently been notching more than 100,000 views per day. Ennis’ father, a retired Air Force pilot, helped influence the visual and military theme for the heartfelt story.

Since its release, fans have sent Ennis hundreds of moving messages via social media about the power of the song and the impact it has made in their lives, many expressing how it has helped them to mend an argument, inspire communication, and simply love more.

Later Thursday night, Ennis will kick off his direct support slot on Dylan Scott’s NOTHING TO DO TOWN TOUR at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City. Ennis co-wrote Scott’s No. 2 hit “Hooked” and will join him for more than a dozen dates across the country before wrapping up Feb. 24 in Raleigh, NC.
