(February 25, 2022) — Latin GRAMMY^® award winning and GRAMMY^® nominated breakout Latin music sensation Rauw Alejandro has dropped his highly-anticipated EP Trap Cake Vol. 2. – This project is the follow-up to 2019’s first volume, which included collaborations with De La Ghetto, Cazzu, among others.

The new project boasts superstar collaborations with Ty Dolla $ign, Future, Rvssian and more. The new single “GRACIAS POR NADA” starts off with a guitar riff reminiscent of a top classic rock song. It then leads you into a dark tunnel of heartbreak and sorrow.

The track was released yesterday alongside a music video directed by up-and-coming Miami based director Martin Seipel and features Rauw in an adventure-filled crusade trying to escape from a group of mobsters.

Most recently, Rauw dropped “CAPRICHOSO,” the first single off of the EP produced by Rvssian.

This new project follows the release of his platinum album VICE VERSA, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s “Top Latin Albums” chart in June of 2021. The latest track from this album, “DESESPERADOS” with Chencho Corleone has reached No. 9 on Spotify’s Top 50 Global Chart and has amassed over 141 million streams to date! The track was added to the No. 1 album in December in place of “TRACK 4.”

About Rauw Alejandro

Latin GRAMMY award winning and GRAMMY nominated Puerto Rican singer and songwriter Rauw Alejandro has been leading the new generation of Latin music artists since he appeared on the scene in 2017. Many of his hits have attained Gold, Platinum and Multi-Platinum certifications.

During the pandemic, he performed one of the most iconic virtual concerts of the year in front of more than one million YouTube viewers in real time from the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, becoming a #1 YouTube trend in 14 countries. It also broke records in Spain with 1.68 million streams in a single day, reaching the top of the charts in Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama, Nicaragua, Honduras and the Dominican Republic.

Titled Vice Versa, his latest album was released in June of 2021 to rave reviews, debuting #1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Album chart, #3 on Spotify’s Top Debut Album and #1 on Apple Music’s Latin Album charts. The album has accumulated over two billion streams to date.
