NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Megastar Miranda Lambert’s brand new single “If I Was A Cowboy” hit U.S. radio airwaves Monday and was the most added song of the week with 103 stations on board.
Since its release last week, “If I Was A Cowboy” has been met with rave reviews and fan excitement, with Brooklyn Vegan celebrating the “breezy, pensive song” and Vulture echoing “Consider this Lambert’s case for letting your daughters grow up to be cowboys.”
Lambert co-wrote the “relaxed, organic” (Billboard) single – her first new solo release since 2019 – with Jesse Frasure. Luke Dick and Jon Randall produced. Currently nominated for Entertainer, Female Vocalist, and Musical Event of the Year (“Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” with Elle King) at the 55th Annual CMA Awards, Lambert is also releasing her first ever fragrance – Idyllwind Eau De Parfum by Miranda Lambert. Combining her favorite scents, the perfume includes notes of Georgia sweet peach blossoms and musky golden sandalwood that stirs memories of the piney woods of East Texas. Idyllwind Eau De Parfum is available now for pre-order at Idyllwind.com with delivery expected to begin in late October.
