The highly awaited third studio album from Colombian superstar Manuel Turizo, titled “2000,” has finally been released. In the peak of his artistic career, the versatile singer offers his fans a record production of 15 original songs, released under the La Industria INC record label and is currently available on all digital platforms.
Without a question, Manuel Turizo is among the most well-known, rapidly ascending, and well-liked musicians working in the music industry today. His style transcends linguistic boundaries, as seen by the success of his song “La Bachata,” which was one of the most streamed tracks globally in the last year. With more than 403 million views on YouTube, this tropical song has been popular for months. It also peaked at #1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart and held the top spot on the Tropical Airplay chart for 10 weeks. The catchy beat and engaging lyrics of “La Bachata,” which spent 31 weeks in the Spotify Top 50, continues to win over listeners.
The new album “2000” is brimming over with Manuel Turizo’s personality and spirit. Many of the songs were co-written by the same interpreter, and produced by artists from La Industria INC record label, including Slow Mike, Jorge Emiliano, Nico Cotton, Edgar Barrera, Julián Turizo, and more.
One of the 15 tracks that make up this album is “La Bachata,” which is included together with “Éxtasis,” a very romantic tune that features “the girl from Argentina,” María Becerra, and which has taken over Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart, peaking at position #8.
Furthermore, included in “2000” is Turizo’s most recent song, “El Merengue,” a fantastic collaboration between Turizo and DJ/ Producer Marshmello. This song exemplifies Turizo’s “chameleon-like” ability to use his voice to create art.
With songs like “Triste,” a Pop-Latin track that drifts into R&B, and “Jamaica,” an exciting urban-Caribbean tune made in collaboration with Beéle, fans can expect one surprise after another. Tracks featuring strong electric guitars, such as “Despecho Marciano,” brilliant pop-urban fusions, like “Pal Carajo,” a touch of alternative pop in “Mariposas,” and more, all without sacrificing the romance and potent love lyrics that have defined Turizo’s artistic career.
