TORONTO, ONTARIO (January 26, 2021) – Continuing to reconceptualize iconic soundtrack themes with style and substance, HAUSER today releases a new track and video for his rendition of “For The Love Of A Princess,” originally composed by Academy Award® winner James Horner as a musical highlight from the epic 1996 Best Picture® winner Braveheart. Available everywhere now, HAUSER taps into the emotional heft of the composition with a poignant cello performance underscored by elegant strings in a soaring homage. To compliment today’s release, HAUSER also shares a new video for the track filmed in his home of Croatia. Sitting in the center of towering mountains, he conjures the sweeping energy of the song as the camera circles from close-ups of his performance to wide angles of the natural wonder around him – watch here.

HAUSER’s story begins as a very young child in the town of Pula, Croatia, where he found himself so transfixed by the sound of a cello that he was moved to gather whatever he could around him to try to make the instrument himself, in the hopes that he could learn its mechanisms and recreate that very same magical sound. His impatience to master the cello survived his childlike attempt to build one, as the dynamic young cellist has since rocketed to fame as half of the global, genre-busting musical sensation 2CELLOS.
