After several weeks of global buzz and a steady release of tracks, girl in red has released her sophomore album I’M DOING IT AGAIN BABY! via Columbia Records. Listen here.

Coinciding with the album release, girl in red also shared a brand-new music video for “I’m Back” – watch the video here. Directed by Mia Barnes, the video, which was inspired by The Sound of Music and The Perks of Being a Wallflower, was filmed in the fields and mountains of Simi Valley and features an exuberant girl in red connecting with her surroundings.

To celebrate “I’M DOING IT AGAIN BABY!” girl in red will exhibit THE HIGHLY REVIEWABLE EXHIBITION. Featuring sculptural works born from a collaboration between herself and Richard Øiestad, THE HIGHLY REVIEWABLE EXHIBITION examines and tackles the self-doubt that girl in red struggled with while making the album. Fans can visit the exhibit at The Hole, located at 312 Bowery, New York City, from Noon to 7:00 pm EST on April 12th-13th.
Says girl in red, “Alongside making the second album, my interest in contemporary art deepened. I was fascinated by how I one day could truly believe in a song, and the next day I would dismiss it and completely doubt myself. I think subconsciously this is what happens in a lot of artists and creatives when they have previously delivered something great and are now expected to continue. These sculptures are bold but brittle and balance the fine line of complete destruction.”
girl in red, who spent much of 2023 opening for Taylor Swift on her Eras Tour as well as crisscrossing the globe on her own festival run, will head out on the GIRL IN RED: DOING IT AGAIN TOUR!. The North American leg of the tour kicks off on Tuesday, April 16th in Boston, MA at MGM Music Hall at Fenway, with stops in New York (Radio City), Denver (Red Rocks), Nashville (The Ryman Auditorium), Los Angeles (The Greek) and more before wrapping up on Sunday, June 2nd in San Francisco at The Warfield.
