Famba Unveils Another Side with His New Single, “Forever”

(September 2, 2022) TORONTO, ON – Canadian electronic DJ, producer and artist Famba releases his latest single, “Forever.” The track is a bona fide house anthem brimming with an abundance of progressive house influences and features a powerful vocal performance from English songwriter and artist, Nuala. Famba has made a conscious decision to steer his most recent music in a different direction than his earlier material. “I got into making this music because of my love for clubs and festivals. During lockdown, I realized that I wouldn’t be fulfilled until I started releasing music that would be played in those places.”
In May of this year, Famba spent the month living in England, diving deeper into lyric writing and production. While there, he worked with a multitude of London-based songwriters, producers, and artists and generated a body of work that is the most fulfilling of his career thus far.
“My time in England was amazing! I got to work with so many insanely talented people. It brought out the best in me, and I think the music that’ll be coming out from my time there will show that,” said Famba. “Nothing I’ve made to date feels as good to me as the music I’m making now.”
That’s a bold statement given the success of his first two EPs. Wishes Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, that turned out big commercial hits. The Dance-Pop songs “Wish You Well,” and “Swear to God,” each went on to be certified Gold in Canada, while the Piano-House influenced “Storm,” reached the #1 spot at Dance Radio in the US. His earlier breakout track, “Vibe” boasts over 30 million global streams to date.
Evolving his sound has never been an issue for this talent, whose ability to turn out quality productions across an array of electronic genres is undeniable and is why YourEDM.com called him, “one of the most versatile producers out there.”
“Forever” follows two Tech House collaborations from Famba, the most recent having been released on Sonny Fodera’s lauded label, Solotoko. Along the way, he’s landed DJ support from the likes of Vintage Culture, Afrojack, Sigala, and more.
Armed with a full slate of new material ready to release in the coming months and well into 2023, “Forever” is just the start for Famba, who is looking forward to this new chapter of music.
