February 4, 2022 (Toronto, ON) – Bursting into 2022 with a BANG, melodic R&B artist 12AM teams up with megastars Tyla Yaweh and Pressa to deliver fans a certified classic…. “Showgirls.” The single serves as a follow up to 12AM’s EP After Midnight, which earned huge success including over 2M YouTube views of “voices” and over 7M streams. “Showgirls” adds to 12AM’s impressive list of collaborators which includes 24kGoldn, Iann Dior, Jez Dior, Trevor Daniel, among others. Now sitting on top of over 26M total streams, 12AM’s accolades are only rising, including notable appearances on Spotify’s coveted New Music Friday and tear drop playlists, as well as Post Malone’s posty’s playlist.
“Showgirls,” spotlights the trio’s ability to ride heavy melody R&B tone and rhythm. When speaking on how “Showgirls” came together 12AM said, “we made ‘Showgirls’ at Tyla’s crib one night when we had bunch of people over. Everyone there was going crazy for it, and it was that moment we knew we had something special. Then one night I got in the studio with Pressa and after hearing the track he wanted on it right away, it just came together perfect.” 12AM went to socials to tease the official video for “Showgirls” shot in Los Angeles in late 2021, the video features the trio in a cinematic experience, and is set for release in the coming weeks.
