SACHA’S “HEY MOM I MADE IT” HITS TOP 10 AT CANADIAN COUNTRY RADIO

(October 24, 2024 – Toronto, ON) – Rising country star Sacha celebrates her breakthrough single “Hey Mom I Made It” hitting #6 on the Media Base Canadian Country chart, and the most played song by a female artist on that chart last week. Building on these two milestones, Sacha returns with a powerful and intimate piano rendition of the song. Offering a stripped-down performance that deepens the emotional vulnerability of the original track, the visual for the piano rendition comes tomorrow.

Last weekend, Sacha headlined EQ Live in Calgary, AB, a Women in Music event presented by Sirius XM celebrating all things that empower women in the music industry. Sacha was Sirius XM’s Top of the Country winner in 2022. More details can be found on the event’s official website.

Fans can also enjoy her latest festive release, Rocking Around the Christmas Tree, adding a joyful holiday touch to her discography.

About Sacha

Since the release of her debut EP The Best Thing in July 2020, Sacha has quickly become a rising star in country music. Following the EP’s success, she was named iHeartRadio’s “Future Star” and recognized as part of CMT’s Next Women of Country Class of 2021. In 2021, Sacha earned her first certified platinum single with The Reklaws for their viral hit “What the Truck,” which became the fastest Canadian country song to go platinum in the streaming era.

Sacha has been featured in prominent outlets such as CMT, Music Row Magazine, American Songwriter, Rolling Stone Country, Billboard, and The Boot. She’s also appeared on top editorial playlists across Spotify, Apple, and Amazon Music. In 2022, she received her first CCMA Award for Top Selling Canadian Single for “What The Truck” and won SiriusXM’s Top of The Country contest. That same year, she toured the U.S. with Maddie & Tae.

In 2023, Sacha kicked off the year by singing the Canadian national anthem at the NHL All-Star Game. In May, she released her third EP, Confident, and performed at the UK’s Long Road Festival in August. Just before performing “Confident” with Tyler Shaw at the 2023 CCMAs, she signed a record deal with Sony Music Entertainment Canada.

Sacha’s first major label single, the heartfelt and uplifting “Hey Mom I Made It,” is just one of the many new songs she’s excited to share as she continues to carve out her own path in the country music scene.
