[Paris – January 26, 2024 ] Bon Entendeur kicks off the year with their latest track, “Fio Maravilha”, available now – listen here. The music video is set to follow on February 2nd.
Known for their exceptional talent in reworking classics, the French duo has chosen to put their unique touch on an iconic, timeless track. Originally performed by Brazilian singer Jorge Ben and later covered by the French singer Nicoletta in the 70s, this rendition pays homage to a famous football player. Bon Entendeur has opted to reimagine Nicoletta’s version, infusing it with their signature electro and disco touch.
Following their initial steps into a hedonistic La Dolce Vita experience with previous tracks such as “Méditerranée”, “Rome”, and “Disco en Egypte”, Bon Entendeur continues to portray their sunny lifestyle off the Latin shores. This time, they bring the French-Brazilian fusion to life in a captivating music video featuring French actress Audrey Fleurot as a groom who becomes uncontrollable when listening to the track – Music video is set to be released on Friday, February 2nd.
“Fio Maravilha” brings us closer to their upcoming third album scheduled for release on March 29th via Columbia France.
The duo is set to kick off their 2024 performances with two sold-out shows at L’Olympia in Paris on April 4th and 5th, followed by two shows in Amsterdam (Paradiso) and London (Koko) respectively on April 8th and 9th.
As avid music enthusiasts, Bon Entendeur are widely recognized for their ability to discover both new and old tunes. Throughout the summer, they have curated their own playlist “BE Radio Méditerannée”, showcasing the Mediterranean way of life in all its diverse aspects and influences.
