COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME® AND MUSEUM CELEBRATES NEW EXHIBIT WITH COMPILATION, OUTLAWS & ARMADILLOS: COUNTRY’S ROARING ’70s

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum commissioned the work for its exhibit Outlaws & Armadillos and the accompanying Sony Music Entertainment releases.
Nashville, Tenn. – April 23, 2018 – The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum will unveil Outlaws & Armadillos: Country’s Roaring ’70s, a major exhibition of more than 5,000 square feet, on Friday, May 25, 2018. The exhibition will run through Feb. 14, 2021.
Exploring an era of cultural and artistic exchange between Nashville, Tenn., and Austin, Texas, Outlaws & Armadillos will feature film content, including exclusive interviews and concert footage, by Austin-based filmmaker and exhibit co-curator, Eric Geadelmann.
An exhibit companion 2-CD, 1-LP, Streaming and Digital Download product, Outlaws & Armadillos: Country’s Roaring ‘70s will be released in partnership with Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment, on May 18 in Digital and CD, formats. 12″ vinyl of the set will be available later this summer. The set includes 35 tracks and a 32-page booklet detailing the rich history of the era. The set is available for pre-order here
